does database.xml follow ddcfg.dtd?
aputnam
When I try to leave in the ddcfg.dtd declaration I get parsing errors. Is this a bug or is database.xml not meant to follow ddcfg.dtd?
The following is an example database.xml that has parsing errors:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE datacapture SYSTEM "ddcfg.dtd">
<data-deploy-elements>
<!-- myJFP_db -->
<database db="mydb.tti.com:1521:JFP"
name="JFPDB_DEV"
password-encoded="yes"
password="****"
user="citi_user"
vendor="oracle"
update-type="standalone"
delete-tracker="yes"
enforce-ri="no"
real-update="yes"/>
</data-deploy-elements>

Hi,
I don't have such a line in my database.xml:
<!DOCTYPE datacapture SYSTEM "ddcfg.dtd">
The original database.xml shipped with install programm doesn't contain this line, too.
So, delete the line and try it again... it should not follow ddcfg.dtd...
By the way, your database.xml doesn't contain a "datacapture" element :-)

Hi,
how do you feel this? :-)
If you have a wrong DOCTYPE line within a xml file, you can't validate it.
