EDRSMS - Sharepoint 2010 Support

Hello -

I was just wondering if there is any timeline that could be shared with respect to when the EDRSMS functionality will be available for Sharepoint 2010. Or whether there is an alternate approach recommended for using SP2010 as the front end and Content Server 6.5 as the document repository.

We have started the process of testing SharePoint 2010.

EMC Documentum Repository Services for Microsoft SharePoint (EDRSMS)

- This product is still on track for a "runs in" SharePoint 2010 certification upon the release of ESRSMS 6.6

- EDRSMS 6.6 is on the roadmap for a Q4 2010 GA.

EMC My Documentum for Microsoft SharePoint (MyDSP)

- We will not support SharePoint 2010 with MyDSP 6.6. Our plan is to provide a "runs in" SharePoint 2010 certification with MyDSP 6.7.

- We will need to expend a fair amount of effort cleaning up the UI to make it usable, which essentially why this product will not make the "runs in" certifcation upon release of MyDSP 6.6.

Do you have any updates from EMC regarding MS sharepont 2010 support Documentum 6.5 sp2 or 6.6 version.

Appreciate your quick help on this. I found few issues MS 2010 integration and few customers already started implementing Sharepont 2010.

Anybody success with this integration?

Yes, SharePoint 2010 support is almost here! EDRSMS version 6.6 will be entering a "Limited Release" period this month with General Availability to follow within a reasonable timeframe after that. EDRSMS 6.6 contains the following important new features:

SharePoint 2010 Support
Existing BLOB Migration
Metadata-Based Journaling Rules
Documentum Version Stacking
Support for Additional Backup & Recovery Use Cases

I think what Shaik was also asking, and I'm interested in too, is whether EDRSMS 6.6 will work with Content Server 6.5 SP2, or will it in turn require Content Server 6.6?

EDRSMS 6.6 requires DFS 6.6 but not Content Server 6.6 since DFS 6.6 can be used against Content Server 6.5sp2.
