Error in Browser Item Window
cliffhanger
TeamSite 6.5 SP2, Solaris.
If I give a relative path from data directory in the browser item field, then click on the browser button, it's giving an error in the browser widow it opens. In TS 6.1 this was not an issue, regardless of what's in the browser field, a BROWSER item would always take you to the templatedata folder if no initial-dir is provided. In 6.5 browser item goes to the parent directory of the file selected in the browser field.
Is there any way to configure BROWSER to always open a particular directory regardless of current file location in the BROWSER field?
Thanks

Did you check to see for any setting in iw.cfg that might let you control this?

We found a solution for this.
If you specify the ceiling-dir in your
browser
item
, then it respect the
initial-dir
specified in the
browser
, and ignores it's current value. So, when you lick on
Browse
button, it always takes you to the
initial-dir
regardless of what file path is specified in the
browser
field.
Seems like a bug(interwoven support said we couldn't alter the basic behavior where browser tries to fully qualify the path specified in the browser field), but works perfect for our purpose!!
