How to trigger two execDeploymentTask ?

Hi,
I am calling opendeploy from workflow. When you look at the XML you will see that i am calling one script (createCard.exe) under deployNRun .
Now my situation is getting bit more complicated, I want to call one more script before executing this script.
In detail, i first want to call a script(Deletecard.exe) and then if this script gets executed successfully then only the other should get called
i.e., createcard.exe.
How should i proceed about this?
Both of these scripts are residing on some other domain. In present scenario I am able to execute Createcard.exe successfully.
My Env.

Teamsite 6.1 SP2 on wondows2000 (with SP4)
Opendeploy version is 5.6
Here i am attaching the OpenDeploy XML file.

First of all - are these *scripts* or *binary programs* - they end with ".exe" which would seem to imply the latter - and thus there's some question as to whether they have any sense of knowing how to signal to OpenDeploy that they failed (for any reason).

The simple answer though - assuming that these ".exe" files exit with proper exit codes on success / failure would be to create a wrapper script (that you place / deploy to the target marchines since that's where the DNR is to be run) which basically does something like this: ...

exit 0 if ($ecode == 0); # success

exit 1;

No - the only thing OD provides is for the DNR script to print out the XML snippet, previously mentioned, to STDOUT to indicate failure. It does not check exit status of the executed script (I believe there were problems being able to do this on Windows and thus, for consistancy, they don't do it on either platform -- though I believe there are FR's filed for this if you want to check with Support...)

Nope - all execDeploymentTask's get run concurrently - if you want to run a script after all the execDeploymentTask's have executed, you have to use dnrDeploymentJob - however, there's a catch (unless this has changed?): the dnrDeploymentJob only works for location="source" and you want it to run on location="target" (I believe there's a FR for this too)

So you've got two issues to resolve here:

One: you seem to want to run serialized deployments (fix: run a deployment with just DEPLOYCONTENT, with a DNR to run a deployment with DEPLOYXML)
Two: you want to run two DNR scripts (not shown above, but presumably for DEPLOYXML - yes?) sequentially (fix: write a wrapper script as your DNR script and have it run your two commands
