Hi All,
I have just began using Documentum 6.5 SP2 and just getting my initial feel of the CMS. Since i ve got the CMS up on the server, my next aim is to find out ways to customize the JSP's in it to inject my customizations like adding links, calling web services.I have gathered that WDK is an option to include configurations and customizations. But i am unable to ascertain how can i code in Java and customize the CMS using the compiled code.
I hav read and gathered the basic fundamentals of Documentum. The Documentum Administrator and Weptop appear to be 2 among the various interfaces wherin i can display my customizations.
What i would like to now is :
What is the best possible way to put customized JAVA code into Documentum? Is Documentum Composer the only way to proceed?
I have gone through the example of Insurance Application on Documentum Compser.
How can Java code be integrated into that application?Could any one share the steps involved for the same. While inspecting the JBOSS folder i have found large "folders" named DA.war and Webtop.war. Do these folders contain all the essential files/jars/other components to deploy the same (Documentum Administrator/Webtop) on a server.
I know i have asked quite a few questions but would really appreciate your help to get a start.
Thank You for the help
