Is there anyway to execute the statement below using api commands?

com.documentum.fc.tools.RegistryPasswordUtils.decryptIn our old api methods, that are still being used in some cases, we have hard coded a password. We now have orders to decrpyt the password and get it out of our code. We have the encrypted password in a file that we read from in our new classes and the above statement works great, but I need to find some way to decrypt the password using api.Thank you.

Do you mean API like in IAP32 ? or do you ean the Java API in whatever Java client you're using/extending ?

API 3.5. It is written in VB.

Never used it directly (only using the command line to encrypt passwords)

The thing here is: How were the passwords encrypted ? Did you use this utility ? If not, then you won;t be able to decrypt them.
