Possibility to define an attribute value in import process

Hello!

Here is the problem. We’re using TaskSpace 6.5 SP2 with Docbase 6.0. We got the customized import action, based on default «TaskSpace Import» for purpose of customizing imported document form. In other words, we have three things: the action, the importer and the form, enabling to define one of attributes (string type) of the imported document (actually, this form has the only dropdown control). Unfortunately, pressing the Finish button has no effect, except a fast refresh of the current page. There are no error messages in application server logs (debug level).

However, default «TaskSpace Import» action works correct, pressing the Finish button causes the content import and new document creation.

What is the root of this problem? Is it possible to define an attribute value of the new document in import process time?

Can you explain why you customized the Taskspace import component?  Taskspace components are designed to support configuration not customization.  In other words, they probably havent been tested to extent like WDK/Webtop components have from customization perspective.

If you just want to set default value for string attribute, you should be able to do this on the Form (without customizing the component).
