Unable to consume DFS using the Dotnet sample application

Hi all,

I am new to the documentum development. We have installed documentum in a standalone server(tomcat and jboss env). Further we have installed DFS in the server. Amended the QueryServiceTest.cs in the HelloDFS sample application and tested. the system throws error messaage. I have attached the DFS server.

I have attached the error log files from C:\Documentum\jboss4.2.0\server\DctmServer_DFS\log

Anybody can find out what went wrong.

From the log you're using the repository dctm65sp2 as the target.

Does the dfc.properties in the DFS server side instance know how to connect to this?, i.e. does it have the right docbroker that the repository is projecting to?

Thanks a lot Andrew for your help.

I verified the dfc.properties in the DFS server side. The configuration settings were OK. The docproker was pointing to the right repository. Actually my documentum server is running on a VM ware image. I moved the VMware image to the .Net application development PC and tested dfs .net sample application. It is working. But it is not working consistenly.

Do you think this issue is due to the VMware image perfromance? Is it bcs the VMWare image is responding slowly for the dfs client request from the .net application development PC? Earlier it was not responding since it was running in a another PC VMWare image..
