Envoironment ::
>> Teamsite Server 6.1 SP2 on W2K(SP4)
>>Plumtree portal 4.5 on IIS
>> Gadgets are written in java and running on Tomcat 4.5
All three are running on different domains.
Here i am talking about one specific gadget which is interacting (Doing all activities, submitting to teamsite , fetching workflow jobs and tasks from teamsite and providing the approvers the facility to approve or disapprove the task from GUI on portal) with teamsite.
Here we have 2 teamsite servers , same configuration.Lets say
TS1 & TS2And two gadget servers(gadgets running on tomcat on both). Say,
GS1 & GS2Gadget on GS1 is successfully able to connect to TS1 .But when i try to connect GS2 with TS2 it is unable to do so ?
After investigation I could find one difference B/W GS1 & GS2. on GS1 CSSDK client is installed but on GS2 CSSDK client installation
is missing .
My queries :::
1) Do we need to have CSSDK client installed on both the gadget servers, For gadgets to talk to teamsite servers ?
2) Gadgets are using cssdksoap.jar , cssdkaiface.jar and cssdkjni.jar for creating client and manipulating activities
with teamsite.
So, all these three jars are same like the ones which is residing on CSSDK server om teamsite
(infact cssdksoap.jar is not there inside cssdk folder on teamsite server ).Why we need cssdksoap.jar when we are talk about
CSSDK interaction ?
3) Gadget is using cssdk.properties file to initialize the soap activity.
these are the lines in this property file
# creates a CS SOAP factory
com.interwoven.cssdk.factory.CSFactory=com.interwoven.cssdk.factory.CSSOAPFactory
# use the machine name and HTTP port of the ContentServices SOAP server
serviceBaseURL=http://TS1:80
What is the meaning of these 2 lines ?
I am sorry , i am asking to much from you guys but i am unable to get these details in the documentation of cssdk .Infact
portal <----> teamsite interaction is nowhere available, not even on support center.
