TS virtualization of page prompting for password

Hello All-

We are migrating our TeamSite 6.5 SP1 install from a box running on Windows 2000 to a new box running Windows 2003. We have moved the store and the configuration over to the new box, but are having a problem with virtualization. Specifically, when we click on a file in TeamSite, it prompts us for a password.

I figured this may be due to unresolved SIDS (specifically the TeamSite Web Preview group) after moving the store from one box to another. However, after doing an iwidmap to resolve the SIDS, we are still having this issue. If anyone has any suggestions, comments, flames, experiences, etc., they are much appreciated. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Hi Nathan,
you say "...it prompts us for a password."
Do you get a IIS password prompt (little grey box) or a TS password prompt (the TS login page)?

Check the properties of your iwmount application below IIS Default Web Site:
- What's your authentication method: (Anonymous (with TSIMP user?) or NTLM)?
- is the TSIMP user member of the TeamSite Web Preview group?

The prompt was a windows authentication box from IIS. It turns out that the issue was simply that the TSIMP_<hostname> local account password and the password for this account in the IIS iw-mount web (anonymous account) were out of sync.

We just had the same problem for TS 6.5/LiveSite 2.2.1: passwords out of sync.
