xCP Install

I just installed xCP, and I can't run Documentum Administrator because it can't connect to port 9084 for some reason. All the services are started. I did check twiddle.log and saw the following:

javax.naming.CommunicationException: Failed to connect to server USENTODDSL3C:9084 [Root exception is javax.naming.ServiceUnavailableException: Failed to connect to server USENTODDSL3C:9084 [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect]]

Are you still getting the error message? It can be caused by delays in starting JBoss after the install.

Could be a firewall problem, if you have a local firewall on the machine where it's installd, make sure the port is opened.

Which specific ports need to be opened and what tool on Windows do you recommend?

Stephen and I worked on this a bit outside of the forums. We discovered the cause of the problem. The system did not have enough free memory for the JBoss instance to startup properly.
