Install DFC on a MAC

Hi all,

I'm new in Documentum environment and I'd like to know if it is possible to install DFC on a mac in order to make the java developments from my mac book pro.

I've created a virtual machine for the server(oracle and documentum content server...) but I do not want to develop on that virtual machine that begins to be overloaded with all these stuffs.

The DFC runs OK on a Mac according to this article that was written by an ex-EMC staffer - http://donr7n.wordpress.com/2008/11/06/composer-on-a-mac/.

I'm developing on a Macbook Pro as well. DFC works fine except some delay at initialization time. Other than that, no problems.

to conclude,

I've created a virtual machine(windows 2003) used to run Oracle and documetum content server 6.5.

the aim was to develop on a rapid machine instead of using a slow environment overloaded by oracle and documentum...

I have installed eclipse on my mac book pro. using the link provided above and I configured the broker dfc.properties of DFC to point to the virtual machine and everything is running fine!
