DQL : Duplicated rows with blank folder path

Hi,

I am facing a problem while executing a dql query to list out the acl name, acl domain and the folder path of all existing folders in a cabinet.

The DQL query is

'select acl_name, acl_domain, r_folder_path from dm_folder where cabinet ('/dmadmin')'

acl_name acl_domain r_folder_path
BOF_acl1 dmdb
BOF_acl1 dmdb /dmadmin/Workspace Customizations
BOF_acl2 dmdb
BOF_acl2 dmdb /dmadmin/Test Folder
BOF_acl2 dmdb
BOF_acl2 dmdb /dmadmin/test
BOF_acl1 dmdb
BOF_acl1 dmdb   /dmadmin/Testing ABC

Actually the results should be in 4 rows only. But the ACL name and domain names are duplicated and also the folder path is returns blank. I tried executing the following query to filter out the blank folder path

'select acl_name, acl_domain, r_folder_path from dm_folder where cabinet ('/dmadmin') and r_folder_path is not nullstring'

The system returns the following error.

Error occured during query execution :[DM_QUERY_E_REPEATING_USED]error: "You have specified a repeating attribute (r_folder_path) where it is not allowed."

Is there anyway i can filter the duplicated records with blank folder path?

please advice.

Hi Bless,

Just keep the r_object_id in your select string and because of r_folder_path is repeating attribute just add "any" keyword before r_folder_path, and your done

select r_object_id, acl_name, acl_domain, r_folder_path from dm_folder where cabinet ('/dmadmin') and any r_folder_path is not nullstring;

That's because r_folder_path is a repeating attribute.

Try: 'select acl_name, acl_domain, r_folder_path,r_object_id from dm_folder where cabinet ('/dmadmin')' order by r_object_id

Check the DQL guide for more details about DQL and repeating attributes
