Web CMS (TeamSite)
files imported to TeamSite marked as private
infoForDj
Hi,
One of my project requirements is to set some file types as private.
I have modified autoprivate.cfg which looks like
(
(
((x.tmp)(0)(4))
((x.backup)(0)(7))
((x~)(0)(1))
)
(
((private))
)
)
This did the trick as if a user creates a file with backup as extension it gets marked as private.
However, when the user imports a file, lets say about.htm to TeamSite (lets say a folder called HTM within the WORKAREA), this file also gets marked as private.
I went through ts.610.admin.win.pdf but could not find anything.
TeamSite version is 6.1.0
OS: Windows2000
Please help me debug this issue as a lot of content needs to be imported and is not meant to be private.
Thanks in advance,
Dhruv

You're saying that the user imports a file that is NOT configured for autoprivate - that the file is being marked as private (without the user having done so explicitly) ?
That sounds like either a bug or a mis-interpretation of what is happening -- and I'd be inclined to believe the latter.
An imported file may be marked as *modified* on import - but it should only be marked as private if it conforms to the patters specified in the autoprivate.cfg file - I've never it seen it do otherwise.

Hi,
I am also stumped.
Again , this is what my autoprivate.cfg looks like:
(
(
((x.tmp)(0)(4))
((x.backup)(0)(7))
((x~)(0)(1))
)
(
((private))
)
)
The user is trying to import *.htm,*.asp and *.html files and these are getting marked as private.
Is there any other configuration files which may impact content getting marked as private?
Please help me debug this one as it is creating a lot of issues.
Thanks in advance,
Dhruv
