Is there automated way to migrate metadata let say can be generated in excel file? How can I import those metadata in MediaBin?

You don't state from what system you want to export from. Could you provide more details about what you're trying to accomplish? Do you have more than one MediaBin server?

i have excel file with metadata.
I want to import those metadata into mediabin.

I was told we may have some existing programs that should accomplish what you're trying to do. They would likely be released as open source scripts that you may need to modify. Please contact Mediabin Support to acquire them.

Otherwise, you could compose your own script that interacts with the MediaBin COM api. You would need to create the metadata definition for each type of metadata in advance, manually. Your script could then add the metadata to the appropriate asset in MediaBin.
