while installing Appliction Builder getting ERROR message

i installed the applicationbuilder of Documentum after installation it asked for user name & password i entered. it is showing the message "Unable to connect."In Details it is showing that " see your administrator or check the server log.Error message from server was:[DM_SESSION_E_AUTH_FAIL]error:"Authentication failed for user documentum with docbase mydocbase." so can anybody say the solution for the problem.

What version of DAB are you using? Did you try adding value to Domain field?

i am using DAB version 5.3,no

Does your username and password work on other apps (eg webtop or DA)? If so, try entering space in the domain. I think there was a very OLD bug about this.
