Hi,

In TS 6.5 SP2 CCPro when I try to edit a DCR the form entry window menu displays the *name of form* and menu buttons. The ‘name of form’ is just the DCR name but I want to display the full path of the DCR over there. Please help me to get this.

Hmm - interesting - hadn't noticed that before.

I don't think there's any supported way to fix that (presumably there's some jsp file that you could modify but it wouldn't be supported).

You should probably file a Bug / FR with IWOV Support - if you do, please post the details / ID as there may be others who want to add their organization's name to the cause.

(I'll be happy to be proved wrong if there is a supported way to fix this)

Actually - I just checked - and if you do a mouse-over / hover-over the DCRname (sans path) you'll see a tool-tip/pop-up that shows the data/-relative path to the DCR..

This is a feature and not a defect. According to Interwoven it was defect in SP1 which got fixed in SP2...

well, the problem is that it cuts off the pathname no matter how long it is.

if you look at the source code of datacapture_buttonframe you'll find the following js function:

not really. i get only the filename in my form / dcrlabel, not the directory information.

if i put some javascript like this in my datacapture.cfg:

var myDcrLabelNode =
top.datacapture_buttonframe.document.getElementById("dcrLabel");
myDcrLabelNode.innerHTML = IWDCRInfo.getDCRName();

i get the dirname relative to the workarea plus the filename.

I hope it clears up the confusion which arises due to the language definition of fixed issue number 54132.

Also if you see the source code of datacapture_buttonframe (provided by you only), it cuts off the path using last Index Of. (Not aware of the source from where you get the code)

2. the datacapture_buttonframe is an iframe within your form. so it is provided by teamsite.

if you use firefox for example, click on the dcrlabel, right-click, select 'actual frame'->'frame source code' (or so, i use a non-english version), you'll get the html source code for the datacapture_buttonframe.

or look under $iwhome/httpd/webapps/content_center/formspub

you can access the '*name of form* in TS 6.5 SP2 via javascript in your datacapture.cfg. the following code gives you the relative path plus filename:

if you want the relative path plus dcr name (path_to_file/file) use
IWDCRInfo.getDCRName();

if you want the full path (servername/branch/workarea/path_to_file/file) use
IWDatacapture.getDCRPath();

you might run into a timing problem if your form initialization takes too long. then use a javascritp timeout, before altering the dcrlabel.
