paused workitem not restarting!

Hi,

we have a workflow and some tasks are in pause state(apause, dpause), we do not really know why(no workflow uninstall).

we'd like to know if it is safe to set them in their previous state(apause -> acquired...)

to get more info, what happens if we uninstall a workflow while linked activities are running(workitem exists), I suppose they are paused?

what happens when we reinstall the workflow? the activities are set to previous state?

Hello Michael,

We had similar issues, but ours is auto activites are failed due to JMS un avaliablity. So we recoverd all those work items from Acquired + Paused state to complete state.

Use below API command to recover.

begintran,s0
restart,s0,workflow_id,actseqno
commit,s0
