Hello!

It's recommended to use IDfClientX in such cases:

IDfClientX clientx = new DfClientX();
IDfId objectId = clientx.getId("0901e3068004450b");

IDfSysObject sysObject = (IDfSysObject) getDfSession().getObject(objectId);

one more question how can i use an objectId which is written in precondition class of my_action.xml to another behaviour class

this is the code written in my precondition class how can i use "objectId" in to another class.

Y.RaviTeja, in case if you need to call another component from action precondition you can use:

Calling a component from an action class — You can jump to or nest to a component within
an action class. In the action class execute() method, add your component parameters to the
ArgumentList object and then the jump or nest. In the following example from EditFormatPrefAction
class, the component name and arguments are added, then the component is nested to:
public boolean execute(String strAction, IConfigElement config,
ArgumentList args, Context context,
Component component, Map completionArgs)
{
args.add("component", "format_pref_attr_selector");
args.add(FormatPrefAttributesSelector.EDITING_PARAM_NAME, "true");
component.setComponentNested("formatpreferencescontainer",args, context, (

return true;
}

I could not understand, i am alearner of documentum i have to use this "objectId" into the class. The class is called from a component which is declered in action.xml file as

in the component "copy" i wrote a class. In this class i have to use "objectId". I Hope am clear.

i did that in my void onInit class but am geting objectId=null in my tomcat console

public void onInit(ArgumentList args)
    {
        super.onInit(args);
        String objID = args.get("objectId");
        System.out.println("objectId=>"+args.get("objectId"));

    }

O/P=> objectId=null

in your component's xml file?

How can i override OK button in my DioalogContainer? I kept seperate button "SUBMIT" to tdo my logic, but i dont want seperate button. I want to use OK button in dialodcontainer. How can i do that plz tell me.
