DCR Deletion

Hi,

I want to trigger an event whenever a file is getting deleted in teamsite workarea. ie; when i delete an html from the teamsite workarea, i want to trigger an event which will delete the corresponding dcr for that html.Anybody have a custom script which is used to delete the dcr. Or can anybody guide me how to go about this.

When a file is deleted from the workarea, but before the deletion is submitted to staging, you can examine the EAs on the file in staging to determine the area-relative path of the DCR from which the page was generated and then you can delete the DCR too.

A better alternative to trapping this as an event trigger might be to replace the OOTB Delete functions with your own custom Delete functions that take all of this into account when the action is taken rather than catching it after-the-fact.
