We have done the unthinkable. Upgraded from TS 5.5 (unix/solaris) to TS 6.5 (Windows 2003). The install used the defualts f:\program files\etc....
My delima is updating many pages of perl/perl modules. The is used by the DCR/Template function to create pages.
The error I receive is:
Preview And Generate Error:
Could not process template: Y:\default\main\mna\tcar\bfgoodrich\WORKAREA\jbaker\templatedata\misc\homepage\presentation\bfg_homepage.tpl
:\default\main\mna\tcar\bfgoodrich\WORKAREA\jbaker\templatedata\misc\homepage\presentation\bfg_homepage.tpl
The bfg_homepage.tpl has the following lines at the top:
Old Version (TS 5.5)
# Add the new custom location
use lib "/usr/local/ModemMedia/teamsite/modules";
use ModemMedia::BFGUtils;
# Main template vars
my $tplUtils = ModemMedia::BFGUtils->new();
my
@textBlob = ();
my $StyleDial = $tplUtils->returnURLPath( iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.Style Dial') );
my $SpotlightTemplate = $tplUtils->readFile( $tplUtils->{WORKAREA} . $tplUtils->{Homepage_Spotlight_Template} );
my $AnnouncementTemplate= $tplUtils->readFile( $tplUtils->{WORKAREA} . $tplUtils->{Homepage_Announcement_Template} );
New Area (TS 6.5)
# Add the new custom location
use lib "F:/ts_utils_legacy/utils/modules";
use ModemMedia::BFGUtils;
# Main template vars
my $tplUtils = ModemMedia::BFGUtils->new();
my
@textBlob = ();
my $StyleDial = $tplUtils->returnURLPath( iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.Style Dial') );
my $SpotlightTemplate = $tplUtils->readFile( $tplUtils->{WORKAREA} . $tplUtils->{Homepage_Spotlight_Template} );
my $AnnouncementTemplate= $tplUtils->readFile( $tplUtils->{WORKAREA} . $tplUtils->{Homepage_Announcement_Template} );
I've moved the modules over from the previous server & updated all the paths to something similar to:
F:/ts_utils_legacy/cfg/bfgoodrich/
or when a "require or use" is involved
use "F:/ts_utils_legacy/cfg/bfgoodrich/conf/presentation.cfg";
Does anyone see anything blatantly wrong? Is there a "space-in-path" (i.e. f:\program files\) issue? Do I need more caffeine?
Unfortunately a reinstall of teamsite without the "program files" directory is not much of an option at this point.
Thank you in advance for your help.
