Custom methods in Documentum

I am not a developer, and I learn Documentum as I go since I have a lack of training.

My company has custom code that searches a custom index type and then matches an ID number in Documentum with an ID in our production DB and then ads a link in a custom application so that when you bring up that particular ID it links to a file in Documentum.

Anyway, it is not working properly but in Webtop it says the job is processing fine. My question is, where is the custom code located physically on the Docbase server? I am not sure if this varies, but I cannot find it. Thanks.

Custom code (written in VB/Java) is located under <DocumentumHome>/dba/java_methods folder on content server box. This folder doesn't exist on the app server where your webtop is running. For any changes to this custom code, you need to copy the class file to the above said folder, restart Java Method Server and try running the method/job.
