How to disable the OK buton seen inside the web container

Hi All,

I am trying to model one of my customizations on the "Export CSV" functionality. As a result i need to emulate the use of the JSP and container pertaining to this. Now i have been able to obtain the container using the action and components.

But i need to modify the container so as to disable the OK button seen at the bottom of the container (encircled).

Could you please help me to achieve this target.

You don't need to customize the container just to disable the 'ok' button. The framework for this is already in place.

The contained component's canCommitChanges() method determines whether the 'ok' button in the container is enabled.

Hi Udeleng,

Thank you for your reply. The class which i am analyzing and trying to work with is ExportToCsv.class. Is the container seen in the above screenshot and its components governed by this class. While i went through the class ExportToCsv class, i did not find a canCommitChanges() method in it. But a function onCommitChanges() was seen.Can modifying the outcome of this method help me in muting the OK button's action or disabling it?
