CMIS compatibility with older Documentum versions?

Hi,

Quick question: will it be possible to leverage the CMIS standard to retrieve content from older Documentum versions? We work with several clients that are using 5.0 or older versions of Documentum and wanted to confirm.

It is supposed that the CMIS client would be compatible with Content Server back to 5.3.x, with a 6.x Global Registry. But we didn't verify it in EA releases. Maybe you can get more backward compatibility infomation from CMIS official release.
