Need Input | Data deploy

nettai

hi all,

Current we are saving the content to DB using customized perl code and now we are planing to shift to Datadeploy. As a part of intial investigation, can anyone let us know whether we can call stored procedure using Datadeploy. if so, can you share with us any document or any example so that we can perform the activity in over environment.

Thanks in advance,

When called in standalone mode, DataDeploy can call platform-specific SQL just as you would call it in a query tool. I don't recall if it can call a stored proc via DAS but standalone mode provides for basically anything you could accomplish with raw SQL.

Check page 160 of the dd admin guide (v 6.02). It provides a config snippet.
