Hi,

I have extended a field called 'extAssigned_to' in the Issue edit page and I will use the 'popTrusteeLookup' to get the user and then put the name on this field.

I have successed to implement by the following code in the issueEdit.jsp.

Now I would like to get the trustee SID during assign the user to the 'extAssigned_to' but I cannot find any way to do that. Is there any method to get the trustee SID?

I don't think it's a good idea to do like that.
I suggest to add a metadata extAssigned_to for issue object in object modeler,assign it "trustee" value, upgrade library, then use viewset to add this filed to page, then wsmp can automatically get trustee list for this field.

Yes, Alex said it all. You should not be manually editing the jsp to get the trustee property on the page. Can you also tell us what you are trying to do here with the trustee on issue? Can you please describe the full use case, we might be able to help.

Could you explain a little bit further to add metadata extAssigned_to for the issue object? I have experience to extend fields in issue, task, milestone. But I am not really know the steps to add the metadata.

please refer to the document- WSMPObjectModelExtensionGuide.pdf and WSMPCustomizationGuide.pdf to learn how to extend object model then customize jsp page for web component.
for trustee type metadata ,just choose trustee as value when you define new property for issue object.

Thanks a lot, I have successed to add metadata extAssigned_to for the issue object by the object extend model. But I can only select one user for the extAssigned value. Is there any way to select multiple users and save the record?

you should set muti-value when you define this property in OM instead of default single value.
