I have a customer that needs to "park" a workflow document until some other information is available. To implement this, I think I would need to create a business process (BPM) that includes an automatic activity that periodically runs a server method to set a variable on the workflow or an attribute on the document that the task can know when to release to document to the next task.
I believe there was an article here somewhere that explained how to do this already but i am unable to find it. If anyone knows where that document is, or can offer suggestions on how to implement such a function, I would appreciate it.
