Upload the file into another cabinet

Hi Team,

I am logging into one cabinet using .net. But how can i upload one document to another cabinet. Please help me.

I am using Documentum 6.5 webserivces for uploading the document to documentum.

Example: I am able to upload admin cabinet using admin authentications. But using admin authentications, i want to upload a docuemnt to another cabinet.

Please let me know how to do?

I am new to documentum.

I have so many cabinets in my documentum server. I have admin rights of all the cabinets. So default when i login in one cabinet, How can i upload one document to another cabinet using .Net. If you have a code snippet please share with me. Its very urgent.

Based on cabinet name i have to upload that document to cabinet.

I have multiple cabinets in my documentum. i want to upload the document based on cabinet name.

Seems, create a link to that cabinet.

Do you have any sample code on .net. pls share me.

I dont have code, but I wanted to guide your question appropriately. After you copy/create the document in the first cabinet, you can do the following to link it to the 2nd cabinet:

1) Query for the object ID of the cabinet

2) Use link api (DFC, not sure what the DFS method is) to for the document with object ID of the cabinet

3) Save the document object.
