Hi all,
In 5.3 we use the http://localhost:8080/webtop/wdk/tracing.jsp --enable the form info comments
How we will enable tracing in 6.5
Thanks
Pradeep Gaddipati
The same url to enable tracing works in 6.5 as well, where you can enable tracing on "forminfocomments" amongst others.
Hi,
Thanks for u r quick reply.
I did the same in 6.5, but when i go to webtop(http://localhost:8080/webtop/component/main) The right Click option with mouse is not working like in 5.3
what can i do now..
I am not sure what you are trying to do, but you dont have to use the main component directly in the url. The webtop app automatically redirects to the main component along with the client id in the http header. So, why dont you just do http://localhost:8080/webtop. Once you log in, just open a new window and alter the url in the new window tohttp://localhost:8080/webtop/wdk/tracing.jsp to go to the the tracing page.
To get the internet explorer menu in the doclist you can do a double right-click which will allow you to 'View Source'. I think this is what you are looking for.
yes i am looking for To 'View Source' when i open my home page
In 5.3, to find out component name(suppose browsertree_componet.xml), i will follow the below steps
1) open the webtop in internet explorer (http://localhost:8080/webtop/component/main)
2) then i am enabling "forminfocomments" (http://localhost:8080/webtop/wdk/tracing.jsp)
3)then i will check the infocomments checkbox
4) now open http://localhost:8080/webtop/component/main then right on browsertree area "View Source" .. i will find the component name(browsertree_component.xml)
What i have to do in 6.5.. i follow the same steps for 6.5 also upto step3 is fine..when i goto webtop Right click oprtion for mouse is not working ..so i am unable to see "ViewSource" as well as component.xml file
Hope u understand... can any one answer this question
Open the page in mozilla firefox (3.6.3) and disallow javascript to disable the context menu (remove check in tools->options->content->enable javascript->advanced->disable or replace context menu). It will help.
does it work in IE and Google Chrome? or not
AFAIK, it does not work in IE.
