modify hyperlink? in Visual Format

DavidMusser

Is is possible to modify the hyperlink dialog in visual format without having to create my own custom button?

I'd like to make some modifications to the default visual format hyperlink to include some extra items, but i really don't want to have to add in all the logic that's already there.

So is it possible?

Let me guess - you need to add a class/id to style the links?

There isn't anything OOTB to customise this and, when I had this problem wasn't able to track anything down in the VF JavaScript files either. We had HTML litterate editors, so it wasn't worth investing too much time tracking it down.

In there somewhere you should be able to find the Link() method the link browser pop-up 'OK' button calls that writes the tag back to the textarea.
