Visual Template Builder

I notice that the last postings for Visual Template Builder was in 2004, Is Visual Template Builder a component of Teamsite 6.5. If so is anybody using it and would you recomend it for use by others?

Not more than using WFB.

There were a number of changed to 6.5 including the way replicants and containers work. VTB
has not been updated to handle these corectly.

That being said, if you have a DCT and TPL you want to create, it will save you some time. Once
you create the DCT/TPL, you probably will be hand coding it after.

Overall, it might save you a couple hours.

Building DCT and basic TPLs is about the most simplistic development work in TeamSite, not taking formapi into account. But since the visual template builder did not address formapi anyway, that's a moot point. That being said, the visual template builder was/is one of the most useless tools IMO.
