Errors installing Center Stage Single-Host

I am trying to install center stage (single-host) install but I am running into errors during installation. According to the install.log file it says:

LAST_BEAN_INVOKED=DiWAOemValidateInputData
LAST_BEAN_ID_INVOKED=validateInputData
LAST_BEAN_STATUS=FAIL
LAST_BEAN_MESSAGE=An exception occured in: DiWAOemValidateInputData, beanID: validateInputData - * Insallation owner password authentication has failed.
- One or more pre-install validation has failed

However, this does not really tell me what my issue is. I know the Windows admin password that I am using is valid as I have logged onto the server directly wtih this information and it is correct. I am installing this using the local embedded SQL Server Express edition installation option.

I am attaching the insstall.log file for reference. If any one can guide me to figuring out why this install is failing, it would be much appreciated.

Can you tell me what did you install on your windows server. I have installed CenterStage Pro singe host without a problem. I used SQLserver 2005 sp3, office2003 sp3, the latest asp.net (install IIS server). All this is running on a Windows2003 sp2.

I installed Windows Server 2003 SP2 and Office 2003 standard. I then used the Add/Remove Windows components to install IIS, ASP.net and the Message Queue just as the installation instructions told me to do. For SQL Server, I tried an external 2005 SP2 server first and then when this failed I tried the embedded SQL Server that is part of the installer. This failed as well. When I sent the install logs to EMC, they just responded to me and told me not to use the single-host (single-click) installer as it has issues.

I installed with the single click installation, But the first time it didn't work. Did you install a SMTP server? I installed the latest .net framework. Don't forget that CenterStage is based on ExtJs and Flex. Office2003 sp3 no office2003 standard it doesn't work I dont know why. And you're database must be case sensitive. If this is ok the installation should be installed succesfully .

So I repeat my configuration for it

Win2003 SP2

Office2003 SP3

SQLServer2005 SP3 when creating an instance it should be Case Sensitive or the installation failed

ISS server (ASP.net and MSMQ) and SMTP(create 1 or 2 mails account)

Go to ASP.net en install the latest .net framework and ASP.net

If this is installed it should work

Well as I said, I was allowing the single-host installer to install the database (I chose to use their embedded SQL Server 2005 databse). So, according to you the only thing that I had different was the version of Office (my standard to your professional).

At this point it does not matter any more. I am going to perform the multi-host install as recommended by EMC since the single-host install would not go beyond the validation phase.
