Import customisation for multiple files.

Hi All,

I want to cutomize the import functionality such that after selecting multiple files to import , and on click of next button, only one page should be deplayed for multiple (different types) files.and on that page all  file name and corressponding dropdown option for selecting type (against each file name imported) should be provided instead of clicking the next button and selecting the type again and again.

It would be great if you all send me some suport on this.

If you are planning to display the attributes in tabular format, you need to make sure that types have similar attributes/labels. Are you planning to limit the maximum number of files that can be imported in one operation? If not, this attribute screen can easily become cluttered if many documents are imported at once. Bigger issue here is the UI design then the actual coding. Have you considered alternatives such as importing documents in temporary location and then assign type/attributes via customization?
