DataDeploy with Filters

In my DataDeploy config file i have several groups under dbschema element.
The DataDeploy guide from Interwoven briefly mentions how to set
the global filter which is not very clear to me.
If anyone who has some experience with how to set the filter DataDeploy config file, can give me more examples of it, i will appreciate it greatly.

Unfortunately, filters are not specfic to groups but to deployments. Since tuples are being filtered, either the tuples are deployed for the deployment or they are skipped.
