Hi all,
I get the following error when I unselect any JRE in my Internet Explorer --> Java. This error varies (depending on what component you are trying to view). This time it was when I tried going to Preferences.
Unable to display error as exception is not set
We are currently using D6.5 SP1. This problem has been around since 5.3 though. The reason why we would like it unchecked is so that some of our legacy apps that use Microsoft VM can still use it, as a lot of apps don't like that setting checked only with Sun Java.
I understand that when you select that, Documentum downloads some ucf jars into user's home directory. Once it does so, it will use those jars. Then my question is, why doesn't it download those anyways without having to specifically select Java Sun. When you go to some other website (even some other apps) that support only Sun Java, it automatically detects that user does have Sun Java installed and works correctly but Documentum seems to only like it if it is specifically checked. This problem is not just happening on my machine but to our entire user base.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
