Hello Techies--
I am writing a proof-of-concept web service in the .NET environment which calls a middleware object I wrote to connect to WorkSite. The connection method works; the search method by document works; the checkout method to a shared directory works.
Now, in a new method I want to return the actual document object in its entirety to the web service--whatever that doc object type might be. Do any of you have some advice for me on 64 bit encoding?
BTW, the purpose for the web service is to provide access for a 3rd-party J2EE based app.
Any caveats, "gottchas", etc. to which I should pay particular attention? ( perhaps outside of the IWOV arena, overlapping into the Java vs. .NET world of integration?)
Kind regards,
