DFS - EMC SDK

Hello

I would like to start developping with DFS and I have found several useful documents for it.

One of the requirements is to have emc-dfs-sdk-6.5 installed. In a discussion that exists in this site I found that the SDK can be downloaded from https://emc.subscribenet.com.

However, I don't have an account to access it (I am not a customer - I am a developper/researcher and I just want to try it).

Is there any other way to download the DFS SDK? having an account in completelly mandatory?

Yes you'll need an account, it is indeed mandatory. Not sure about it but you might want to check the Developer edition, maybe it's included in it and you can get it from here

    Hi...

How can we check that DFS SDK is installed  in our machines rather than checking in the programming files.

for example java we can test by "java" command in cmd .Is there any other thing
