I wonder whether I can develop a search form in FormsBuilder to search an external datasource? Say, I created a new JDBC Datasource adaptor. Now I create a new search template. The "Simple Search" option just lists the document objects and the "Advanced Search" option forces me to enter DQL query. My external datasource is not a docbase. Its a separate SQL Server database. Could anybody let me know whether this task I am trying to achieve is possible or not? If not, what is the alternative solution?
Kindly help me in this, as I have very less knowledge in Documentum and haven't trained in this area.
