Reverse Deployment

Is there anything can be refered as reverse deployment??

Actually.. i have an external task (content_gen_rem) which either creates or deletes the files as per the DCR inputs. The next transition is another external task which call iwodstart. Now at the time of creation i read certain selected DCRs and create some html/jsp pages and deploy the same using OD script.

Whereas at the time of Removal... i again read the selected DCR values and extracted out of that the generated files to be deleted and pass those paths as workflow attached files.

Now... my query is how to process with OD.. so that the generated files to be deleted at the time of removal also gets deleted physically from web server.

All suggestions are welcome !!

That is not a reverse deployment, it is a delete deployment.

Yes you can, depending.

do_deletes is the key you need to use

what type of deployment are you doing ? This can work with a filelist, TeamSite or date based deployment.


One final point. Simulated deployments are your friend. Use them. Esp now.
