How to record the documentum scenarios like import,export .... using jmeter

Hi,

Facing problem while recording the documentum application for these scenarios like import, export, checkin checkout using jmeter. Could you please let me know the process how to record these type of scenarios(import, export, checkin/checkout) using jmeter.

Thanks for your reply.

But this pdf was not described how to record these scenarios. It describes about a simple scenario(just login, navigate, and logout).These scenarios (import, export..) are some thing different. For these scenarios, we have to import one .dll file into our script then we have to call getUID function to get the value of

UID after that we have to replace this uid value in our script. Refer below getUID function,

uid=getUID(7338,"GAIR","http://xyz.com","/ap",lr_eval_string("{SessionId}"),"msg");

Currently i am working on jmeter 2.3.4. Here i need to know about,

1) How to import .dll file into my jmeter script

2) How to call getUID function from my jmeter script.

Sorry my bad. I was aware of Jeff's WDK/JMeter paper but I didn't see your reference to import/checkout/etc. I've not used JMeter for import/checkout/etc.

I don't think that JMeter can process JavaScript (see http://wiki.apache.org/jakarta-jmeter/JMeterFAQ) but you can probably build form variables. I'm no expert on this so I would try Googling the JMeter docs.

Hi,

as UCF is not a public API I think it's quite difficult to use it within JMeter. What exactly are you trying to test? Just the import/checkout-wdk components ore the whole stuff? If it's just the components you may think about the option switching to http-content-transfer for your tests...

Hi Ralf,

I am trying to test import/export ... scenarios using jmeter. I am able to record these scenarios using jmeter. In the script we have __dmfUcfClientId variable.( For Ex: __dmfUcfClientId=54%3Bba9e6e62f3b6b9141q2bb1e 5431q128b46018b11q1d7fbc). In this the first part(54) is UID value. I have to get this uid value by using getUID() function.
