Custom Triggers in Forms Builder

I have found several threads related to custom triggers. However I did not fidn any official documentation on how to develop custom triggers and enabling javascript in Forms builder.

Also found that implementing custom triggers has changed in the 6.5 version.

Where can we get official documentation on these?
