Changing the size of DefaultHiFiDocView Template and hiding the Standard Doc-view frame in TaskSpace

Hi All,

I created a Task type template under Task Space Component in the Form Builder 6.5 SP2.

In the Task Template I have assigned a place for a DefaultHiFiDocView embedded Template.This embedded template will show a hi-fi form to the user.

When a user opens the task in TaskSpace, he sees the hi-fi document preview in the embedded default hi-fi template. But the size of the embedded template is too small and the user cannot resize the area of the embedded form. I cannot also resize the embedded DefaultHiFiDocView template from the Form Builder.

How can I enlarge/resize the DefaultHiFiDocView template?

Also how can I hide the right hand side standard doc-view frame in TaskSpace application since I do not want to show that to the user performing a Workflow manual Task in the TaskSpace and only need to show that when the user is in a folder tab?

1) Have you tried changing the width of the preview window under Preferences button for the user?

2) Have you tried changing the visibilty rules for the widget/component?

Thanks a lot for your prompt and valuable help.

If I change the width of the preview window under Preferences button for the user, then the width of the hi-fi document shows much better and that solves my problem. One question. Can I fire a DQL to set this preference for every user?
How can I change visibilty rules for the widget/component?

1. Yes, you should be able to. I dont know the query off hand, but I believe user preferences are stored in global registery.

2. In forms builder, there's tab for making components visible/read-only based on roles or other criteria.
