Outlook - force user to save sent emails into repository

How can I force users to save sent emails to a repository?

DCO / My Documentum for Outlook is very good for storing incomming emails. Is there any way I can configure it to store sent emails?

Is it possible to customise DCO on the client side? For example, create an Outlook VBA, menu item to move the item into repository profile folder.

DCO is meant to be a user driven (manual) activity to store emails to the repository. Since you want sent emails (which could be a lot) to be stored in the repository, this should be done as a back end (automated) fashion. Have you looked at SourceOne for Email Management? Its designed to archive emails on the backend more efficiently than DCO.

thanks Johnny, had not heard of it. Working with what the client has already been advised to use / paid for!!! Good to know that there are other options.

I've heard that My Documentum for Outlook was rewritten in VBA. Not sure if there is a SDK or whether customizations are supported.
