configuring a custom action in formbuilder.......

Hi Experts,

My requirement is to call a custom action.

1) Configured a custom action in taskspace that was configured in ts_plain_action.xml.

2) Configured above action to invokebutton in FormBuilder. On doing so my invoke button is getting disabled.

3) But if i configure existing actions(such as creating new form) then my invoke button is enabled..

So please guide me what are the values i need to specify in properties of invokebutton.

1) ActionContext.

2) InputParameter.

3) Output Parameter.

Even the FormBuilder UserGuide is helpless..

Normally the invoke button will be disabled in case :

1. the wdk action is missing

2. required parameters of the wdk action is not provided (to be configured in the Forms Builder when you add the invoke button and assign a taskspace action to it)

3. the precondition if the wdk action is not satisfied.

As previous poster said do you have any required params in your action/component file?

If yes, then you need to send these parameters in the input parameters section

Hi Jawahar,

I am facing the same issue. did you happen to get it resolved?

I just made an entry in ts_plain action.xml. With the same action id ,I created an action xml and made relevant entries for param tag and execution class tag. I did not mention any precondition. And my custom logic, I have kept in the action execution class.

Please let me know if you got it resolved.
