Thats the functionality issue with devnet... neither you can close a thread ... nor you can attach a prior thread to a newly opened thread.

Well, you really wouldn't want to "close" a post, as others may come along and want to reply in the future, this happens all the time.

You also don't want to provide functionality to "link" posts, as this will encourage cross posting, which is highly frowned upon.
