While clicking the "Folder1" a File->New-> Document , can be able to create with only one custom type 'abc'. While clicking the 'Folder2' , 'Folder3' the document can be able to create any of the object type ?? How we can acheieve this, Whether we need two jsp page ? Pl give the suggestion

Hi,

In createFolder.class you can override the "getTypesResultSet" method and depending on the folder selected you can assign the types.

TableResultSet resultSet;

resultSet =

new TableResultSet(new String[] {"type_name", "label_text"});

and

(<folderName/folderlevel/foldertype>==<give your condition>){resultSet.add(

new String[] {"abc", "TypeABC"});panel.setVisible(

true);

}

else if(<folderName/folderlevel/foldertype>==<give your 2ndondition>)resultSet.add(

new String[] {"def", "TypeDEF"});panel.setVisible(

true);}

else{

//Give as in create folder class

}

return resultSet

}

Thank you for ur nice suggestion.... In Folder2 , normal object types need to display no custom object type, while creating the Document Inside 'Folder2'.

For that

resultSet.add( new String[] {"def", "TypeDEF"});

panel.setVisible(true);

}

In String[] { } Inside String[] wat to fill to get the normal object types without Custom Object Object Type,

What is the panel Object ?? Its a object for JPanel ??

No need for panel in your case..I just did a copy from my customisation.

Regarding how to get default types in else case, you can use the same code that createFolder uses,ie:

What is the difference between "Folder1" and "Folder2", "Folder3"....

If you have defined them as different folder types, then you can achieve your goals by (D6.5) Webtop configuration. For "Folder1", lets call its type folder_demo, extend the new document

      <component id="newdocument" extends="newdocuments: fill in the path here to newdocument_component.xml">
         <desc>
            Limit to special documents
         </desc>
         <combo_defaults>
            <base_type>abc</base_type>
            <type>abc</type>
