setup new file group as WA group

How to setup in TS when users create the file, file has to create with group name as WorkArea group rather than user primary Group.

That is not easy. What you can do is configure submit.cfg so that the perms are updates as soon as the file is submitted.

It used to work in TS5.0.2 , after we upgrade to 6.1 it is not working. We didn't configure submit.cfg in old version.

Try to set the s bit of the parent directory or the workarea for group and owner... Now if a new subdirectory or file you will create it will inherit the group from parent

That is what we do with success....

chmod g+s <dirname> should do the trick.

Also, add the following to iw.cfg:
directory_default_perm=2775
workarea_default_perm=2775

Still it is taking primary group.
