ESignature throws error off and on

All,

We have e-signature implemented in our application. We have successfully migrated it to 6.5 SP1 from 5.3SP2. It works fine on most of the occasions but sometimes (in some days) it starts throwing the following error:

DM_SYSOBJECT_E_ESIGN_SIGNATURE_METHOD_FAILED_02 error: Method 'esign_pdf' failed: Arguments <all arguments> :: Method returned '5'

This error goes for some days when I restart the docbase.

I cannot let this issue go like this and would like to get rid of this. Can someone suggets me the cause and solution for this issue?
