Documentum Webtop 5.3 SP6 Install Question

Hello,

I just finished an install of WebTop 5.3.6 on a Weblogic 9.2/Solaris 10 configuration. The install completed successfully, but I cannot seem to find how the classpath, and other environment variables are being set. Can anyone please provide locations, samples of how a WebTop 5.3.6 configuration should look in a WebLogic 9.2 environment?

When I attempt to access the WebTop application I receive the following error message:

DM_API_E_EXIST error: Document/object specified by does not exist.

Hello JB,

i guess you not updated the dfc.properties file yet so update the file with the host name and other information where is the content server is running

like:-

dfc.docbroker.host[0]=WEBTOP
dfc.docbroker.port[0]=1489
dfc.globalregistry.repository=documentum
dfc.globalregistry.username=dm_bof_registry
dfc.globalregistry.password=KmYwfPemMrpphRf5Lwazxg\=\=

you will find the dfc.properties file in the below location:-

webtop\WEB-INF\classes\dfc.properties

I'm not sure about succesfull webtop installation because of such error occures.

Is your app server on Content Server's host?
