Accessing DFS from php application

Hello everyone,

I'm just starting with developing connectors to DFS. I found many examples for connection from java and .net(c#), but none for php, which I have to use.

So does someone have an example for consuming DFS WSDLs from php? It would really speed thingh up for me.

Basically, DFS is a bunch of Web services so if you can consume Web services in PHP, you should be able to consume DFS services too. However, I don't know much about PHP so I wouldn't be able to point you in the right direction but I just googled with the following phrase "consuming web services in php" and there's quite a lot of info so you should be able to find what you need

Thanks - but I already know all that. The problem is, that consuming WebServices in php is not so simple as in Java or .NET and takes some time to create first working example (for example none proxy generator, I tried, generated classes from xsd files - only from wsdls). I just wanted to skip this initial try-and-error approach

Well, sorry I can;t help more than that. Hopefully, somebody out there will have gone thru this painful process and will be able to help (even though you marked the question as answered so a lot of people in the community might not even look at it )

For anyone searching for consuming DFS from php:

I found out, that most of the php Soap clients have problem with inheritance used in documentum's wsdl/xsd files. I tried php's build-in SoapClient, nusoap and pear::SoapClient - all had this issue. Later I came across wso2 Web Service Framework for PHP, which did the work for me. It also supports WS:Security, so no issue should come up there.

Hope this will help you
